Miguel Cotto vs. James Kirkland Fight set on February 27 LIVE on HBO PPV


Five-time World Champion Miguel Cotto is returning to the ring to battle against James “Mandingo Warrior” Kirkland at the Ford Center, The Star in Frisco, Texas on Saturday, February 27, 2017.

The two pugilists comes off from respective losses to Canelo Alvarez and seeking to redeem themselves in a 12-round junior middleweight showdown. Cotto vs. Kirkland fight will be produced and distributed live by HBO Pay-Per-View® beginning at 9:00 p.m. ET/6:00 p.m. PT.

Seats for the Miguel Cotto and James Kirkland PPV showown will go on sale on Thursday, Dec. 22, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. local time and will be available at the AT&T Stadium box office, ticketing sites online and many more. Miguel Cotto (40-5, 33 KOs) is the former WBC and Ring Magazine middleweight world champion and the first native of Puerto Rico to become world champion in four different weight classes.

James Kirkland (32-2, 28 KOs) is the 32-year-old southpaw pugilists from Austin, Texas. He have recorded 28 knockout victories over the course of his nearly 14-year professional boxing career.
